Privacy Policy
Last updated: 25 October 2026
This website is operated by Midori Projects Pte Ltd (“Midori Projects”, “we”, “us”), a company registered in Singapore. We supply and install solar control film, acoustic wall panels, acoustic doors and other thermal and sound insulation. Our website address is https://midori.com.sg.
This policy explains how we collect, use and protect your personal data, in line with Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA).
What personal data we collect
We collect the personal data you choose to give us when you contact us by WhatsApp, email, phone or through our social media pages and ads, or when we visit your premises. This may include:
- your name, phone number and email address;
- the address or location of the property or project;
- the type of project and the products you are interested in;
- any photos, drawings or other details you send us; and
- records of our quotations, orders, installation work and payments.
Our website does not have user accounts or a comments section. The enquiry form on our home page does not store or send your details to us. It only prepares a WhatsApp message on your own device, and nothing is sent unless you press send in WhatsApp.
How we use your personal data
We use your personal data to:
- reply to your enquiries and arrange site visits;
- prepare quotations and recommend suitable products;
- supply and install products and provide after-sales support;
- issue invoices, receive payments and keep business records;
- measure and improve our advertising and website; and
- meet our legal and regulatory obligations.
We will not use your personal data for other purposes without your consent, unless the law allows it.
The WhatsApp buttons on this site open WhatsApp on your device. When you message us, WhatsApp (operated by Meta) handles the message under its own terms and privacy policy. Please do not send sensitive information such as identity card numbers or payment card details by WhatsApp.
Facebook and Instagram advertising
We may advertise on Facebook and Instagram, which are operated by Meta. To measure how well our ads work, we may use tools such as the Meta Pixel. These tools can place cookies on your browser and send Meta information about your visit to this website, such as the pages you view and your IP address. Meta may use this information to show you more relevant ads and for its own purposes, under its own privacy policy.
If you contact us through a Facebook or Instagram ad or message, or fill in a Meta lead form, Meta passes us the details you submit. We may also upload customer contact details to Meta, in an encoded form, to reach people who are likely to be interested in our services. Where the PDPA requires your consent for this, we will ask for it first.
You can control the ads you see through Ad Preferences in your Facebook or Instagram settings, and you can block or delete cookies in your browser.
Cookies, analytics and fonts
Our website is hosted by WordPress.com (Automattic Inc.). Like most websites, it may use cookies and collect basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, device and the pages you view. We use this to keep the site working and to understand how it is used.
The site loads the Poppins typeface from Google Fonts. When it does, your browser connects to Google’s servers, and Google receives your IP address. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, although some parts of the site may then not work as intended.
Who we share your data with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only where needed to run our business, with:
- service providers that host our website, handle our email and messages and run our advertising (such as WordPress.com, Titan, Google, WhatsApp and Meta);
- our installers, subcontractors and suppliers, to the extent needed to carry out your project;
- our professional advisers, banks and payment providers; and
- government bodies or other parties where the law requires or permits it.
Transfers outside Singapore
Some of our service providers store data on servers outside Singapore. Where this happens, we take reasonable steps to make sure your personal data is protected to a standard comparable to the PDPA.
How long we keep your data
We keep personal data only for as long as we need it for the purposes above, or as the law or our business records require. After that we delete it or remove anything that identifies you.
How we protect your data
We use reasonable security arrangements to protect personal data, including password-protected accounts and limiting access to those who need it. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your rights
You may ask us to:
- tell you what personal data we hold about you and how we have used it;
- correct personal data that is inaccurate or incomplete; or
- stop using or disclosing your personal data, by withdrawing your consent.
Withdrawing consent may mean we can no longer provide some of our services to you. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on a request, and we will reply as soon as reasonably possible.
